SWANSEA
VS LIVERPOOL MATCH REPORT
Liverpool made it 4 wins in 4 premier league matches
after they came from behind to defeat the Swans at the Liberty Stadium.
The first goal of the game came in the 8th
minute after Leroy Fer scored after a scrappy defending of a corner by
Liverpool.
Roberto Firmino equalized for Liverpool on the 54th
minute after he headed home from a Jordan Henderson cross form a resulting set
piece taken by Coutinho.
Firmino was however brought down in the box on the
83rd minute and James Milner converted from the resulting penalty kick(his
4th in 4 attempts this season). This will definitely be a confidence
boost for Jurgen klopp’s men as this result takes them to 2nd on the
table ( pending when Arsenal and Totenham play on Sunday).
Adam Lallana was injured in the game and would be not be available to England
for the upcoming international fixtures. This would be a blow to Klopp and his
mean as Lallana has been very influential this season; he has scored three
goals and assisted three in the premier league this season. Hopefully he will
be back before the international break is over.
